Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: 3rd Disscusion

Yes! Finally our last group discussion!! I think that our last discussion was the best we ever had. It was the end of the book so we all knew what happened and there were no new surprises that could be exposed.
The book was okay. If I were to rate it on a scale from one to ten(ten being the highest) I would have to say I would give it a six. Don't get me wrong this book was good, but I had trouble grasping the main point many times in the book.
What was difficult about the book was the plot. It seemed as if the story was going to present to past and the other way around. It is a VERY hard book to keep up with. The big idea behind the whole book has to do a lot with business and big corporate companies(which I am not found of) I don't like business or anything complex like that. So it was hard to enjoy reading my book when I had to be able to understand company issues as well.
But wait........This book was also very interesting! Even though the may seem confused at parts between the book, while you start to read and get to where the plot starts to take more action you get clues along the way. I also like that the characters and setting took some place in Germany. I don't know, I think the names were cool and sounded cool.
What we mostly discussed was the purpose of the book and clarifying questions. After we finished the book we had comments to make on why events happened and what the author was trying to portray about it to go with the story. A Lot of questions came up. Many were just to clarify is something was true in a story or what someone missed reading.
A question that really guided our discussion was
What do the facts on women of Sweden or Germany( I forgot which) and the big bolded words after every few chapters have to do with the story's idea?
I commented by saying that the story had some violence and the story revoled arounf busniss. It was a connection between the both.
Over all, the whole group discussion thing was awsome and I liked reading this book. You should read it!!

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: 2nd Disscusion

So far this book has been not at all what I expected! I mean, I thouhght it would be more suspenseful and terrifying, but its not. I mean, don't get me wrong its a good book its just not at all what you think it would be.So after the second disscusion I sorta have a better understanding of the book. All the evidence is starting to get  clear and I know whats going to happen next.
Our disscusion was better than the other day and I contributed more to my book than any other book I hae done. Many questions came up and we sorta started some mini debates. A question that came up and I  thought was very interesting was: What is the author trying to portray throught the book with the headings he puts up  and the informaton on sweedish women? In the book there are facts about sweedish women and words that describe companys. I think the words are for the description of the process for big corpurate companies and how most of them take their process throuout the whole life of one. I dont really haev an idea on the sweedish woman facts, but I might later  on.
I think that this book is confusing at first and thats why we ushally ask a lot of questions in our disscusions. I really want to get to the end though to put all the evidence together and solve the case, The book is hard to get a firdt but, if you resad slow and have a good understanding of what goes on then you wil get it. I think disscussing has been a good thing to do and we have been able to help each other out during class.
What really got me turned on in the disscusuion was the spoiler that Andy said. It was about the lady who I thought was dead but she was not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant belivev it! Now I really want to finish the book. But, I also have to read a lot to catch up on.
I really cant wait till our next disscusion.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\MEXICAN FOOD//////////////////////////////

Okay, so I found this quote on Fermins Blog that talks about Mexican food. I am Mexican and I love mexican food. Most people do find Mexican food very tasty and delicious. I think its because our food is very unique and has the best spicy flavors. The quote I found was
''In every Mexican dish, most of the time we have torillas. In my opinion, if you dont have tortillas then you food is not complete. Tortillas are made out of korn which is another grain that is good for you. A nother thing is that When it comes to mexicans cooking food, they always put pepers. In my opinion, if the food is not spicy, then its not good.''
I love Mexican food, and I agree with Fermin. In my family, at every meal we have a plate of tortillas and freashley made salsa or chiles asasdos(which are my favorite). Mexican food is really all about spicy food! Thats why I love it. Ushally most people want ketup on their fries or put salt on their chips. I always put hot salsa. My favorite type of salsa is my auties guacamole hot salsa, but my second favorite is Tapatio! I think evrery mexican has a tapatio hot sause bottle in their fridge. I love to put tapatio in my lays chips and had lime juice, its so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tortillas are also something that I love!!!!!!!!!!! I think if I would have to chose between tortillas and bread I would choose tortillas. I eat more tortillas than bread, and they are many varaities of tortillas nowadays. My favorite dish with tortillas would have to be tacos al pastor with salsa verde. Its just tacos with the meast extra fried with salse and then you put more salsa on top, I ushally also put some jalapenos becsue it gives it a more spicy flavor.
If I would have to define Mexican food with only three words I would say spicy, meaty, and flavorful. We have a varity  of flavors and most of them have meat in it. My favorite spicy mexican dish would be enchiladas! They are so spicy!!!!!!! I have to have like a whole giant soda after to get the spict tast out of my mouth. My favorite meaty plate would be tacos de carnitas. They are filled with different types of meat fried together.
I love Mexican food, Its the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JUSTIN BEIBER WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough with the war!why do people always have this war on Justiin! just let him be, and I found this quote on Contanse blog:
I don't have an opinion on Justin Beiber...but I'm not a "hater" either. I find it extremely interesting that there is no middle ground, only the fans and the "haters".
I do not dislike Beiber just because I don't listen to his music. I simply don't care one way or the other.

Now, to your third point, that I am being intolerant and "getting all crazy and angry" about others disagreeing with me. As a matter of fact, this is impossible, because I am not in direct disagreement with anyone whose post I referenced. It's all right with me if you guys disagree with each other, but why can't you respect that other people have opinions just as much as you do? Why can't you just agree to disagree?
OKAY JUSTIN BEIBER IS JUST A REGULAR BOY WHO HAS A lot of fans who love him. He also has those mean haters who should just stop hating on him. So I learned that there are three typr of Justin Beiber people.
Lover Fans- They adore him becasue he:
IS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAS AN AMAZING VOICE
SUPER TALENTED
GREAT HAIR!!!!!!!!!!1(he really does)
AND HES HOT

There are also those who are
Haters- Hate him becasue
GAY
SINGS HIGH
SHORT
AND ALWAYS DOES THAT ANNOYING THING OFF FLIPPING HIS HAIR
STUPID (because he doesnt know what Germany is)

And there are  also those who just know him bu t  don't really care much.
Thery   are the people who have different opinions about him but aren't that  crazy about it.
No offense but all those haters and lovers are CCRAZY! Just let the boy be. He si just a star and soon everyone will forget him in a couple of years.
And haters- stop hating! what did he ever do to you? you are just jeloues that every girl ypu ask think hess cute and you wish you had his good loooks. nah, i'm just playin, but seriously back off.
I am in the middle I do like him, but I am not so crazt  about him.
oh well, I hope this helps the Justin War!!!!!!!!!

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: 1st Disscusion

So I am reading this book in Class and it is confusing, but it has a bit of a thrill to it. Oh yeah, its called Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Its bout a journalist who finds himself trying to solve a case of a missing girl. I cant really say to read the book or not since I barley started reading it, but so far it has been okay.
Our first discussion was predictable. I knew most of what the people in my group would say. Throughout the first book part there was only talk on business ad getting back at companies. In our discussion there were many main points that we stayed discussing for most of the time. The main points were:
1. Story plot- where it was going and what it could be leading to
2. Characters- especially Blomkvist(I know, weird name)
3. Title of the book
4. And the business talking( it was confusing)
I found that our first discussion made things a whole lot easier. Talking with the people in my group helped me understand parts of the story I did not know.I did not get how business related to the story idea, but after discussing about it I found out that it would help solve the case in the end.( well not all of it but most of it) We don't really know what going to happen next, but talking about what has happened makes things a whole lot easier.
What I found hard about my discussion was that some people where on different pages of the book. We were all suppose too read to the clip, but some did  not finish and others read ahead. Discussion points also ran out and we couldn't think of what else we could talk about, but that only happened a few times.
What I did like was hearing others perspective of the story and what they think of whats going on. Sometimes our discussion turned into a debate, but it mostly stayed as comments. Asking questions was good because it made everyone know what was going on, and answer each other.
I also thought that listening to another group was helpful. We could hear great topics on a different book. We also got good ideas for our next group discussion and see how we could manage one better. Giving feedback also helped me learn what I could do to make our group discussion more productive.

Kite Runner: Reflection

In the book, The Kite Runner , By Khaled Hosseini , is a historical fiction novel that he tells of his life in Kabul. Amir writes about how his life and major events that impact it.  Amir has redemptions of his past and everything seems to go from good to bad all the way. Relationships help give out attitude and appel to conflicts that intensify the plot and the journey through Amir's life. The interactions with characters revolve a lot around Amir who is the main character, Hassan, and Baba. Hassan has a major part in the role of Amir's life since he is his servant and they have known each other since they were born. Baba is Amirs father who makes Amir the man who he turned out to be.

A very important relationship that Amir has in the story is with his dad, Baba. My view of Baba is a tall and strong man. From the way he deals with conflicts i the story he is a bit hard headed and bold. But, Amir seems to see problems in his relationship with his dad throughout the story.
''I always felt like Baba hated me a little. And why not? I had killed his beloved wife... The least I could have done was to have had the decency to have turned out a little more like him. But, I hadn't turned out like him. Not at all.'' (19)
Amir thinks that his dad hates him a little because his wife died when he gave birth to Amir, and because Baba does not approve of the way Amir is.
'' I wasn't like that.'' Baba sounded frustrated, almost angry. Rahim Khan laughed. '' Children aren't coloring books. You don't get to fill them with your favorite colors.'' (21)
In this quote Baba did not like how Amir acted. Amir was always reading and getting pushed around by the other kids.  It was almost as if  Baba wanted Amir to be a real man and take things like a man, like Baba did. Baba's acceptance as a father cannot be recognized by Amir so easily as he would like to.Baba can be a hard person to get soft hearted but he cares a lot about Amir. Baba is just trying hard to have a good impact and be a good role model for Amir and tries not to let his pride take away from it.
''Then a smile played on my father's lips. He opened his arms. I put the kite down and walked into his thick hairy arms. I buried my face in the warmth of his chest and wept. Baba held me close to him, rocking me back and forth. In is arms, I forgot what I'd done. And that was good.''
Baba also shows compassion and care for Amir. Baba was really proud of Amir for winning the kite tournament. Amir just wants his dad love to show ad they both have a hard time showing it, but it shows with the accomplishments they encounter. This relationship really made a difference at the end of the book, when Baba and Amir moved to the US. Baba had an illness and dies, which took a big toll in Amir's life. Though it all Baba and Amir's relation to each other makes the son and father love contribute to the defensive and life changing experiences that exploit the book into a hard life plot.

Amir ans Hassans' relationship is also very interesting in the book. I question I kept asking myself throughout the entire time I read it was, Did Amir and Hassan really have a true relationship?
''How can you call him your ''friend''?
''But he's not my friend! I almost blurted. He's my servant! Had I really thought that? Of course I haden't. I haden't. I treated Hassan well, just like a friend, better even, more like a brother. But if so, then why, when Baba's friends came to visit with their kids, didn't I  ever include Hassan in our games? Why did I play with Hassan only when no one else was around?'' (41)
Here, Amir was being bullied by Assef, a bully who hates them. Amir seemed to have gotten embarrassed and hurt my Assef's crude jokes. Here, Amir even admits that they aren't friends and gives an example of how he treated Hassan. I find that Hassan has been a better friend to Amir than Amir will be to anyone else. But, I also stop to think if Hassan really considered Amir to be his friend as well. Did Hassan just hang out with Amir because he was the servant and had to obey or because he had no one else to hag out with? This question was also fought with Hassans loyalty to Amir.
He turned to me. A few sweat beads rolled from his bald scalp. ''Would I ever lie to you, Amir agha?'' Suddenly I decided to toy with him a little. '' I don't know. Would you?'' ''I'd sooner eat dirt,'' he said with a look of indignation. '' Really? You'd do that?'' He threw me a puzzles look. '' Do what?''''Eat dirt if I told you to, '' I said. I knew I was being cruel like when I'd taunt him if he didn't know some big word... ''But I wonder,'' he added. ''Would you ever ask me to do such a thing, Amir agah?'' And, just like that, he had thrown me at his own little test. If I was going to toy with him and challenge hi for his loyalty, then he'd toy with me, test my integrity. I wished I haden't started this conversation. I forced a smile. '' Don't be stupid, Hassan. You know I wouldn't'' Hassan returned the  smile. Except his didn't look forced. '' I know,'' he said.(55)
Amir seems to have a jealousy for Hassan loyal companion to him. Hassan never fool around with Amir and would always do what he said, Amir turned his back on Hassan at the end and Hassan got raped by Assef for standing up for Amir. And did he tell anyone or get Amir in trouble? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is what got me ticked of throughout the story. Why does Amir have to be so rude to Hassan? Hassan is already his servant and does everything for him. In the end Amir tries to solve his mistake of mistreating Hassan, but never does. I don't think Air ever knew how it really felt to treat a friend and right, so now he had to live with  that mistake in the back of his head.
This novel is a never ending book of bad news and powerful, unforgetting story of a youg mans life. And, the relationships between the main characters are what drive the plot and makes the storys purpose reach out to the reader. It is a book of a hunting truth that is moving and extraordinary. This book is really good, AND I MEAN REALLY GOOD! I will never forget it.

Rest of 3rd Bokk post...

I think what Amir was tyring to say that he went through a lot, and it is hard to forget. In fact, I don;t think he will ever forget those tragic events, but he knows that he still has life and there is hope.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\3rd Book Post//////////////////////////////

We finally finished reading Kite Runners, yah! I really enjoyed reading this book. I guess I am just going to write about what I thought of the book. What really stood out to me in the story was the climax of it. You always read something terrible that happened to the characters and then another tragic event happens. It always keeps on building up.  I really didn't like most of the events that took place in the book because they always led to someone getting hurt. I do have to say that Amir had a rough life. I don't think I could ever go through what he did.
My favorite character in the story was Hassan. He so nice to Amir and Amir's father Baba. Hassan is the only character in the story in which we can see many different aspects of his like that give us different veiws of his perspective. I also like his character because the story seems to revolve around him a lot.
The events in the story was what really was driving the plot. My favorite event was when Amir and Hasssan won the Kite Flying tournament. It was like a symbol of their friendship. My least favorite event was when Amir and Baba came to America and Baba got sick, and died. I almost cried! Even though the events in the story where tragic, suspensful, heartbreaking, terrible, adn sad; they were also filled with understanding, love, hope, adn faith. I think thats why this story is so good. The characters get to know after each event that they go through and it makes them stronger.
I really like the ending:
For you, a thousand times over, I heard myself say. Then I turned and ran. It was only a smile, nothing more. It didn't make everything all right. But I'll take it. With open arms... I ran... But I didn't care...I ran with the wind blowing in my face, and a smile as wide as the Valley of Panjsher on my lips. I ran. Page 371

Sutherland Class is Awsome!

What I want to write about in this blog is this class, writing class or is it english? well anyway, this is my favorite class where we actally have to do class work, other than pe. I dont just like it because we barley get any homework( which i love !) but because of my teacher, Mr suther land!
Mr. sutherland is awsome, not because he is funny but becasue we get a lot of freedome in his classroom.  And No! I am not being a kiss up. He makes jokes all the time and I like the blogging part of the class. We get to write about whatever we want to write about and share it with others. I feel that his class is the only class in which I can chill and be happy to learn.
So far, this class has been easy and I have enjoyed the assignments we have completed. We are reading a book , Kite Runner. I really like it. Now I dont know what else to write about, oh yeah!
SO the class is fun and Imean Mr Sutherland is crazy! Not the bad type of crazy, but the type where they are funny and have cool ideas to to in class. In class I ushally just sit down and chill with what we are doing. I dont need to worry about notes or where my notebook went, or HOMEWORK! (well sometimes) Mr sutherland also makes me laugh, a lot! I mean we could just be in class talking about a book and then we are talking about some guy in a randome movie. But he knows how to teach. He doesnt bore us with notes all the time and talking the whole period. He is a true teacher.
that is what makes him stand out from all the other teachers i have in school. I guess his wasnt a blog of the class it was mostly about sutherland so I guess this is a sutherland blog.Ha ha.!
Now I cant write about the class becasue I don'thave anything else to say so i'm just going to talk about food. I want a bag of hot cheetosThey are so freakin good! Everyone I know likes them. I always eat about two or three bags a week. okay I am done writing now.
o
I found this quote from Karen's blog that should really be discussed.
''We have the right to express our opinions about whatever we want. You might not give a damn about him but we do. Just because you don't like him and don't listen to his music, it doesn't mean that the whole world is going to stop this because what you say. quite frankly you should eat your own words because you are not being tolerant yourself were not the ones getting all crazy and angry about the opposing side disagreeing with us.''
So there is this whole conflict of Justin Beiber and a lot of crap being talked about him. All what I have to say is Let him be ! I mean what has he ever done to you! People are just haters and are jealous,of him. (especially guys)
Whenever I talk about him all the guys( well some) always say hes gay, and he sings like a girl.
Well they are all just jealous that he gets all the girls and they wish they could be as good as him.
But other guys like him! They are cool with him and people should do that. I hate when people talk about him and they just don't have nothing else to do. Justin Beiber is actually nice, but I don't think he is the best artist.

Now I know everyone is gonna wanna know if I like him or not. Okay I will admit I do have some songs on my ipod and my favorite song is Somebody to love and You smile. I do think he is cute, but not hot!
Okay no one come up to me and try to change my mind thats what I think of him so deal with it and respect peoples opinion.
Well I dont know what to write about and I am hungry, Ivan is talking about Mc Donal's again and I think I am going to go get some for lunch. I like the big mac with the milk shake. I am bored! Jessica is reading her book and Ashley is finishing her homework!:) AHH! I am so hungry! Well I think I wrote enough now, bye!

Kite Runner Response #2

The kite runner has been a very interesting book. I find myself being able to relate experiences from the story to my real life in the second section. What I noticed was in the first section I got a lot of Airs childhood and how he was raised. In the second section I get a lot of manipulations of time and A LOT of Amirs relationship with his dad. ( I find that the most interesting relationship in the book)
Amir and his dad share a lot in common, but are yet so far apart, same blood, but different mind sets.
What I want to do it tell you all the interesting events that have happened in the story so far:
    1. Hassans incident with Assef
    2. Hassan goes away
    3. Amir and Baba go to the US
    4. Baba gets cancer

Those are the events that have driven most of the plot and conflict throughout the whole story.
So far, Amir is very different. I don't find him to be the same person he was before. He doesn't observe much of what goes around him, he is also not as free spirited as he was.I guess through all the trouble he has gone through it made him change. Baba has stayed the same. I find him to be the most hard headed, unemotional, stubborn, careing, thoughtful, and most courages character I ever read of. I think Amir really admires his dad.
The way I can connect is with him moving. I did not move move as far from him, but coming to a new city was difficult to me. I also had a friend who went away. She moved to a new city, very far away and I still miss her and  I wish she could be living here.
My last thoughts on the book are that it really has made me think a lot. Idon't know of what but the trou bles that go on in the book. They just see to have taught me things and show me a lot of the characters. I know I sound weird, but it is just a really good book, and I cant wait to read the rest of it.
p.s. and I cant wait to watch the movie!

Poerty

i like poetry. it is all i have to say. Many of the reasons are:
It is relaxing
I can express myself
Show people what I want to show them
I love it!
Here is a poem that I have recently wrote:
Mermaids
Inspiration drives
I inspire my self and others
It is what keeps me going
Something I learn from
Trust and Hope in
I follow a conduct
Of inspiration
No rules
Just yourself
Learn to Inspire
yourself and
others
What is your inspiration?

Now I know the title is weird, how does mermaids have to do with inspiration. Well when I think of inspiration it makes me think of mermaids. I don't know why it just does. I used to love mermaids when I was in elementary and wished I could be a mermaid. What I find in mermaids is their mysterious character, and how they take their inspiration to their exploration.
Many things inspire me, it can be people animals, or objects. Someone that inspires me is my mom. She helps me with everything and is my inspiration to keep on going. Music also inspires me. It is not the sound of the music but the mentality to have an effect on people. But the great thing of inspiration is what you decide to do with it. My inspiration is what helps me keep on going, thriving through my life, and makes me have a sense of motivation in my actions.
People should try to be more open to inspiration. Sometimes it can come from the, most unexpected places. Inspiration should not be taken for granted. don't take someone Else's work and get the credit. Let it make you think of something you can do or give you an idea of what you want to do.
Oh, here is another poem that I made mermaids Hope you like it :)

Mystery  of the Sea

Moving through the waves
Gliding past the seven seas
A glimpse of her tail
and the colors of her scales
A radient shine, shimmering through
the oceans floor
Resting aside a waterfall
seeing her reflection on the surface of the water
A beauty of the sea
Yet, such mystery that comes with her
Her long hair
combed with a shell This is a mermaid

Haters are not cool, So dont hate.

So I found Billy talking about racism in his blog and found this quote
If only we follow the golden rule "Treat your neighbors as yourself" we will all be living in a good environment. So, why cant we humans love each other?
Why are people haters?  Haters are just bitches who have problems with others that never did anything to them. I always ask myself this question, " Why Are people like that?" People just have problems, and they need to learn to just deal with them. If someone is hating on you, you Can just go up and tell that person dont and hate. I just learn to ignore the haters. even if you wanna beat their ass dont, show that you are a better person by being strong and being yourself. i sometimes think that people hate because their jealously. they are jealous of your beauty, clothes, or that you are cooler than them. maybe if people got to know each other better that could make a difference and people wouldn't hate as much. but my cousin always says
"no te comportes como los demas, has lo que teianes que hacer y dejah  que hablen de ti. tu sigue adelante"
What he says is to be yourself and let haters hate, your not the one missing anything, they are. i am not saying you have to love everybody and let them talk *@#% behind your back but  HAVE RESPECT FOR PEOPLE! i get so mad when people just talk behind your back  and they wont say it to your face. at least you can have the... well you know what I mean, just go to the person and face them, at least thats some type of respect without having to hide the truth.
my advice to people would be to be strong and be you. it is better in the long run. people will always talk stuff about you , maybe not all the time but there will be times when you hear something about you. so i am done with my paper and i have nothing else to say. ivan is talkin about easting mcdonalds and I am hungry. haha  mr sutherland is talkkin about how smakin kids is fun! hahah, but hes just kidding. all i have to say now is...
 So Why hate, appreciate.

Kite Runner: Reflection

So, we are reading this book in class called the kite runner. To tell you at first I thought the book was not interesting. The first couple of chapters made no sense to me, but its just that the book is very difficult to comprehend. The annotations that we are assigned to do help a lot though. Anyway, back to the book.
Amir seems to be having this relationship or friendship with Hassan, but Amir seems to be a *#@4% to    Hassan at times. Hassan is the servant of Amir's dad, but does that mean that Amir must not accept Hassan as a friend? In the book the Father Baba was talking to this guy, and then Amir states that he didn't even think of Hassan as a friend! Well from the way they hang out and do stuff together you would think they would be the best of friends, but Amir denies it.
Hassan also does not say that he is friends with Amir, but he is much nicer to Hassan. But, I also think of the narrator's point of view. It is described in Amir's eyes, but if we say it through Hassan eyes maybe things would be different. What Hassan does is care. He has this sort of care for Amir that I don't even see Amir having for Hassan. He wakes up and cooks him breakfast, and never does anything mean; he even takes the blame for something Amir did.
This is what really stood out to me throughout the first section  of the book. What does the relationship of these two main characters tell about their lives and the relationship they share? That really drives most of the conflict between the story. I mean, there are many other relationships between the story but none seem to play it out in action like Amir and Hassans' relationship.
My last words on the book are that it is a very heartbreaking book And I barley read the first third of the book! I really do like the way the plot is taking place. Throughout the whole story new events that occur bring out some untold truths about characters. The book is surprising, heartbreaking, but a novel needed to have a literate sense of truth and being able to comprehend it to drive the plot of the story.

//////////////////////////Refletion Essay//////////////////////////////

Blogs are a introduction to me that have given me a new view of my writing and help to it as well.

Since the beginning of the school year we have been writing blogs(which I love doing!) I find myself writing about all sorts of topics, from view of an essay -   Q's Experience to a New World to finding inner strength -''Ganging Up''.  But, the topics I most write about is poetry. You will find a lot of random poems in my blog because I enjoy reading it and writing it. To sum it all up, I have a lot of random topics that I like to share with classmates.

Having a blog has given me a chance to express myself in writing. With all the writing I have at my school that exclude topics, blogs give me choice to write about the topics I want. It does not restrict me from staying on one main idea for all blogs. I wrote about an essay: Movies to watch which had to do with a novel we read in class. I had very strong opinions on the novel and my description amplified my overall overview of it. The next day I wrote about a blog on a Poem, which was a freewrite. With having such freedom in writing it gives the writer a chance to express my writing in different topics and have a more open view on what I am writing about.

Having a blog has also been able to get me some feedback on my work that has helped and encouraged on my writing. ''I found this quote in Susan's blog that explains a lot of what...'' This quote shows the ideas I get from others in their blogs.
Most of the feedback I get are comments, but others I mistook as insults. But, as I studied my writing I noticed that those insults( better yet-advice) would be able to make my writing better. As I used the advice on my blogs, people started to notice and comment. It gives me a sense to be proud my work and encourages me to be more confident in what I write about.

I also find that blog post help people learn more about each others style of writing. Sometimes I would get board of my own blogs and start to read other people's blog. I found many interesting topics that I responded to and I found other good topics that could contribute to my blogs. A blog is like a canvas waiting to be filled with inspiration that are your words.
I sometimes find myself just wanting to write more and more blogs because of the type of inspiration we give ourselves to write about.''We sometimes get so caught up we don't even finish.''
My most favorite thing of having a blog connects to having freedom, but I don't have to stick to narrative essays.(which I find boring, sorry If I offended anyone). I don't have to worry about punctuation of grammar, which is great! Or follow a list of rules that conclude to an essay. I can focus more on my main idea of writing and let my essays flow more easily.

At first, writing on the Internet was a weird introduction to a new exposure of our writing. I am going to be honest- I was nervous!  I thought of my work a lot- having to revise two or three times, and going over my other blogs. I didn't know what type of comments I would get on my style of writing.
Through writing many blog posts, my fear of putting up work was over.

Blogs have changed my writing a lot! Before having a blog I would never feel comfortable writing a piece of writing on my own. Now , I can write for longer periods of time and not get stuck so easily. It has improved my writing and the way that I write. As I referred to before on the freedom of blogs, it has helped me to be able to write about more topics that I wold have trouble with. I can get more ideas into my writing, as well as having a choice of topic.

Now, blogs have not just made me realize I have the best writing skills in the world; I have found flaws in my old blogs from previous blogs with more advanced improvements. On my first blog I noticed how I lacked many of the requirements that were needed in my writing. Throughout the year my blog has been used as a tool to be able to go back and study my own writing; they help find flaws and success in  my writing.

Throughout the whole process of having blogs I now find myself thinking about writing ( specifically mine) in a different way. Before, I would always find writing a dull thing to do, I never even had a diary for more than a year because of how much I didn't like to write. I always thought you had to be a natural, but I was wrong. Now, I think of writing as an enjoyable thing to do. I can write in class for then minuets without having to stop all the time, and ideas come to my head more easily. My writing has improved ( which I am very happy about) and I write in a different way. With the freedom of blogs I have practiced my writing the past weeks and it helps me just practice. I know it sound weird that I just needed to practice but Mr. Sutherland also gave us a lot of good tips on writing which have also had a great impact in my writing. Blogs have seemed to help me find my happy place in my writing.

Blogs have been  a lot of help to my writing and I hope they keen on doing it. What I do have in mind are some goals that I could work on for next quarter. I want to be able to stay on topic with my ideas a little better. I go off topic in some of my writing and it makes the reader not be able to know my dominant expression. My second goal is to write more! We have a whole lot of writing that will be assigned and I hope that I get enough ideas for all of them. My last goal is to work on my intro. and conclusion paragraphs. I really don't like having to write them because I find myself with so may choices to start and end a paragraph. These are goals that I will try to work on in my blogs and lern how to approach them in a better way.

Characters FACE themselves in Of Mice And Men

John Steinbecks 1937 Novella, Of Mice And Men tells the story of two friends that share a journey through through the great depression. George and Lennie are both good friends that are traveling together to find work. When they find a job, it leads nothing to trouble and a devastating end.The central conflict in of Mice and Men is character vs self. Every character has an internal conflict that leads them to change their manner and make an outer conflict with others.

Lennie is one of the main characters in the story. He is a lovable and kind person, but has an internal conflict with himself. Lennie is a very big guy, physically.  He doesn’t have a great way of controlling himself, and gets frightened when he knows he’s in trouble. For example, we learn that Lennie has a history of unintentionally terrorizing people with his incredible strength, as he did in his previous job before the story opens. George explains to another character,
‘‘ Just wanted to feel that girl’s dress-jus’ wanted to pet it like it was a mouse- Well, how in the hell did she know who jus; wanted to feel her dress? She jerks back and you hold on like it was a mouse.’’ (11)
Lennie’s actions lead to problems with others involved in with his actions. He seems to have a child- like mind, in which he needs to be told what to do an what not to do all the time. He cannot control himself as a man.
The same internal conflict that Lennie has is shared with George. George and Lennie have been friends for a long time and Lennie sorta has a feeling for the guy. For example, George explains how they stick together.
‘‘Slim looked through George and beyond him. “Ain’t many guys travel around together,” he mused. “ I don’ know why. Maybe ever’body in the whole damn world is scared of each other.” “ It’s a lot nicer to go around with a guy you know,” said George.(38)
George takes care of Lennie because of both of them traveling together. George knows the trouble that Lennie gives him, like losing jobs, getting girls dresses, and forgetting things all the time. Of course these incidents don’t happen all the time, but it creates a conflict with Lennie's own self that makes George having to take the outcome of his actions. George could be better of by himself, as he explains in the story, but finds himself still in contact with Lennie. Its the bond that they share that makes George still stay with Lennie and having to have to share the trouble. What also makes George stay i some of Lennie’s hard work. Lennie is a really big guy who knows how to work. If the boss likes Lennie’s work there is a chance that the boss will also feel confident of letting George stay and work as well. Lennie’s internal conflict creates a conflict with George that makes him mad at Lennie, but at the same time he stays with him for multiple reasons.
Curly also has a conflict with his physical self. He is a type of guy who wants to show everyone he is tough and brave, but really is a big fat coward.
‘‘ The swamper considered.... "Well...tell you what. Curley's like a lot of little guys. He hates big guys. He's alla time picking scraps with big guys. Kind of like he's mad because he ain't a big guy. You seen little guys like that, ain't you? Always scrappy?" (26)
Curly’ own self image creates  a mind setting stage  where he thinks of himself as the boss, when in fact he is not.  He seems to be afraid of what others can do to him, because of his size, so in order t have an advantage he acts like a jerk. This makes him not feel good about himself and makes others dislike him. Curly had a big conflict with Lennie just because Lennie was big. That made George feel mad about Curly’s actions which lead into a bigger conflict.  What is Curly’s attitude bringing a bad feeling to other characters
and leads to other conflicts.
In the outcome Of Mice And Men, George decides to make a devastating action and kills Lennie. Throughout  the story characters deal with their own self conflict, but sometimes let their actions take order of how the communicate with others, which creates conflicts with those characters. These small conflicts lead the pot of the story in which the central conflict is character vs self.

I miss middle school!

I am in class right now and dont really know what to write about so
I remembered the times I had with friends at middle school. I remember always hanging out, not really doing work. I never studied for test and I did my homework about five minutes before class, I never really needed to do anything because middle school was so easy. I would just talk in class and then go home and hang out again. we would have so much fun at lunch, going out to the yard and just talking all day! our classes were much shorter and we did fun things in class. We would have a better way of doing class work, by going outside to do work and having group projects. I also LOVED the events we had at our school. We had a bunch of spirit weeks and dances and parties. What I dont really miss is the drama that happened at my school. It was soooooo annoying! A fight this week, r Middle school was so fun and now i miss a lot of what we did in there. rumor on this guy, and some little punk ass kids selling crack  after school. It was too much! But I love my school and the people(most of them) we were so much fun and hung out all the time.
In high school its different. We have a whole lot of homework and we have to study a lot. We have quizzes almost every week and I have barley passes most of them. I also dont get to hang out with Friends as much as in middle school. all what i can really do now is just go home and do homework, eat , watch tv, and go online, and more homework. I barley get any sleep! It pisses me off that high school is so much work
But, I love the people here and my friends. ASTI is the best high school. No matter if the homework is hard or a lot of work. I like coming here every day and I love this school!
Oh yeah, I went to chipman middle school.

We have a right to Stand up for Ourselves!

I found this quote on Bianca's blog that was very inspiring.
''If they have the right to mock me, then I believe I also have the right to stand up for myself. ''
It was on her blog on Odd Girl Out. I do believe that girls can be aggressive, not just physically but mentally as well. They can make you feel alone, and make others not hang out with you. I agree with her quote and many girls and guys can find this quote to be helpful.
When someone makes fun of you you shouldn't just stay quiet, but dont go up in their face and start cussin. Tell them up front, Hey, don't mess with me, its not nice or something like that. I admit that I may not always be the calmest person when someone pisses me off, but I try.
Another way to use this quote is to stand up for others. You can help a friend out or someone else. When you stand up for someone that shows that you care about them and want to help out. It also shows the bully that they need to stop what their doing because its not right.
So, we all have a right to stand up for ourselves. We can show others that we wont become afraid of their comments to us. It is a way to have a better self image of yourself and to others as well.

Movie to Watch!

So, our English class just finished reading two short stories and we have been discussing about them in class. I don't think that I ever have read two stories that we so weird. don't get me wrong though, calvino's (i think thats how you spell it) stories are really good. He has this way of being able to make writing for an adult, but having the plot set in a three year old's mind. What i mean is that he can be using the character to represent human race as a dinosaur(this is from the story The Dinosaurs)
The Dinosaurs  is a really good short story that shows what humans can show to each other when they come inn contact  with differences. We aren't really good with that. But, this story can also help make people understand how to become better at accepting differences.
After discussing this story inn class, I found the story heading in a new direction: Q's identity.
Q really ha a hard time finding himself, and with the situations he faces it seems to be as if he is multiple things.
We also read another story called The Aquatic Uncle. I found this story to be my favorite because of the plot and conflict that cam in it. It had multiple conflicts that the character has to face but the main is Q trying to have a relationship with his uncle. Now, his Uncle has game for taking Q's girl, but he is really mad all the time. Q finds himself not being able to open up with his uncle because of the difference that builds a wall between them. Q is on and off water, while his uncle is just in water.
Calvino's stories do not just provide a story for people to read and just get over with it, it lets the reader feel what the characters feel and be in the story. Because of such level of conflicts this story brings it makes it more exciting. I also like these books because they create a lot of discussions in class. We sometimes get so caught up we don't even finish. Calvinos stories are not just some boring books, they open people's eyes to small stories with big morals.

Q's Experiance To A New World

The Dinosaur(that is his mane), just had his first interaction with the New Ones. He seems to feel relived that he is accepted after long years of being tracked down, but finds himself feeling lost from his past.
‘’They gave me a nick name: ‘’The Ugly One’’, because I was different from them, for no other reason. These New Ones, I don’t know how in the world you call them, Pantotheres or whatever, were still a rather formless species; in fact, all the other species descended from it later; and already in those days there was the greatest variety of similarity and dissimilarities from one individual different type, I was finally convinced I didn’t stand out too much.’’ pp(99-100)
The way Dinosaur reacted to the salutations of the New One’s was is sometimes the same way that people react to differences. People can be rude, or friendly when one interacts or comes in contact with new things. An example can be when we meet new people. I f we feel insecure (which is most of the time) we change our personalities and our beliefs.
We feel that people won’t accept us, and we will be alone. Dinosaur was nervous when he met Fern Flower. People can react in a different way to something they meet. When II meet new people I  might like the company or dread the time I have to spend with that person(s).We also judge people  before we even get to meet them. That can make conflicts between the differences people can share, and neglect those differences. Dinosaur was very different from the New Ones; from his physical features, to.his characteristics. He soon found out that if he wanted others to like him and fit in, he would have to change. Change can be a good thing at times, but make others fake. You can share differences and be able to use them, but not make them change you completely. These are problems many people face with changes to meeting new people and their differences.     What we can learn from the experiences from Dinosaur  can help us with our future experiences. This experience for Dinosaur show a lot of our world today. Are people accepting each other? Or Are we changing people? What we can do is learn to accept new people. Q dealed with his situation by becoming one of the New Ones. Maybe in his own opinion, his choice was the correct thing to do. My advice to people would be to be able to accept differences. Invite someone new to eat at your table, or talk to someone you haven’t talked to. This will be able to create a better relationship between people.

Goverment

I found this quote in Susan's blog that explains a lot of what the government does to people

''Instead of holding people back and telling them what to do, we must facilitate all of our rights of freedom.''
Government has been taking our place in our say in what we think is right. Sure, they have many important people representing the ''whole America'', but really just represents the people who work for the government.
Government has been taking away our freedom by not letting all people vote, deciding things for us, and making up stupid laws that can go against a lot of people who have done nothing wrong.
It is like the government is speaking for us. The problem is why do we let them do that, and no I am not saying let us make a riot and kill them all, but have more of a voice in our nation. We should be able to spread  our opinions to others in a safe way that does not neglect others. It is a way in which we can make new ideas that can benefit others as well. This a poem in which we made in seventh grade that I give out my ideas on the freedom people have today.

                                                        Is freedom out there

I ask myself this question
I guess others do too
What is freedom?
It seems to be lost in a puddle of honor, power, and strength
that comes from those who speak for us
Is it true?
Freedom is still out there?
In the laws we have to follow
Constricting us and our morals
Or the men in black suites who seem to always have more power than me
Is  my yellow top and skinny jeans not enough?
The lesson we need to learn is this:
Learn to accept the differences
the choices
the opinions
the looks
the personalities
the fame
and fortune
the poor
and stupid (well, the not so smart)
the colors
and race
the culture
in all people.
Do you think this is a way to a new beginning?
A way to let others know
Hey, I am somebody who needs respect and wants to help
So, listen up goverment

(This is the second part of ''The Day I Saw You)

Poetry has been written since people have been able to write. There are many different types of poetry that we may not even think are poetry. Examples could be: songs, a diary, your opinion, and your own writing. Writing poetry in my opinion, is a way of expressing my feelings toward something. Maybe I was mad about something and wrote a poem to express my anger, or I could have had a great day and described how it went in a poem. The problem is not how the poem is itself, but what it shows about us. Poetry is a powerful tool that is used by many people, and through it we learn more about others.
Writing poems is also a way of writing anything you want to get out at an audience. You have the freedom to write. Unlike, in an essay you may have to write about a certain topic.  In a poem the writer can change from topic to topic, write about something and then something completely different, but it is poetry.
People should start writing more poetry. Not for writing a simple piece of writing, but a masterpiece that can be portrayed by others in discovering more about yourself.

Please cheack out this Poem?

The Day I saw You

I was in the street
You were in a hotel
I was in the cold
You were in the light
The sounds I heard were my crying
All you heard was laughing
You dressed in Vans, Levies, gold, and a hundred dollar shirts
I was dressed with the same thing every day
Tyring to love you is like asking time to stop
It would be just you and me
But I see how harsh reality is
The differences that I saw where far to vast for us to love
If only you knew how much I loved you

This poem is from my Friend. I do not want to mention her name, but I love this poem.
Sure, she did exaggerate, she did not where the same thing everyday.
But, this poem is much more than love
it explains the way we look at each other.

First day of ASTI(AHHHHH!)

So far my ASTI experiance has been really great. The school is awsome and so are allthe students and staff.
I can still remember my first day of high school. I was late(myluck). I entered Mr. Higashi's room and I saw a few familiar faces. The rest of my day was meeting new students and at lunch I went out to eat. y friend and I went to taco bell. I don't remember what I ate, but I was hungry. After luch we went to sixth period and physucal fitness class. Mt first day of school was over and I was exuasted.
I hope this school will teach me to work harder as a student and to be able to eet new people.
So freshmen, how do you guys feel about ASTI and your new experiences?

Breaking Bad Habits

Coming to ASTI, it is a difficult and exciting transition from Middle school to high school. It is exciting to meet new people and go to school in a college campus. The work I have done so far can was a bit difficult, but I am getting used to it. The problem is that many of the bad habits I had in middle school are the ones that I have had trouble in this period of being in high school.
I found this quote from Karisa's blog that summarizes what I mostly did in middle school with my bad habits.
''I also didn't have the best study habits. Very often I would procrastinate with finishing assignments or studying for test and unfortunately, all I was doing was hurting myself.''
Middle school (now that I think of it) was really just a breeze. I barley studied for test, and saw no point in doing homework that was extremely easy.I thought that school was so easy that I never really put effort into my work.
What these bad habits do is that they make you lazy and procrastinate. I am not saying I was the smartest person in school, but a lot of students thought that school was really easy and saw no point in doing work. Of course, I did complete most of my work, but I sometimes did my math homework in class without studying, or forgot to finish a history homework sheet and put some random stuff to look like I put time and effort on it.
That is what I think I really needed to work on my work in middle school, time and effort. With putting time into work I could study and use my time wisely to make sure that I understood the concepts of what we went over in class. With putting effort into my work I make sure I do my best and get the most from my work to help me learn.
Breaking habits can be difficult.but with time and effort it is possible. I think that if I learn to use my wisely and put more effort into my work it will help me become a better student here at ASTI.

Medical Marijuana Should be banned: Rebuttal

My rebuttal on Banning  Medical Marijuana

Medical Marijuana has helped some patients, ( yeah, only some NOT ALL PATIENTS). But, there can be some serious consequences that may occur if not taken with responsibility and common sense. People may become addicted to marijuana because of the THC, Tetrahydrocannabinol, is the active ingredient in cannabis. People who take the medicine think that they are feeling better, but really just feel high. It can also affect children by watching their parents take the ''medicine'' and think it is okay. It can also lead to others selling it to others who don't need it and earning profit. That is selling illegal marijuana and can affect people by just using it to sell it and not helping patients. Last of all. Marijuana is still a drug. You simply cannot change that. So, why would people want to add even ore side affects by using marijuana as a medicine, when already there is no cure for the patient.

Pro Rebuttal:

''Medical Marijuana helps patients with their pain'' (Con's opening Statement)

Here are my reasons with evidence and my feedback on them:

Medical Marijuana has been a legal medicine since 1996. It can help relief pain for some patients, not all, but can be taken as an advantage.

People become addicted to it after having the experience of supposedly feeling less pain, but really just feeling high.

THC, Tetrahydrocannabinol, is the active ingredient in cannibus.

Like any other powerful, mood altering substance, people who are prone to chemical dependency can become addicted to marijuana.

High doses of marijuana can produce an acute psychotic reaction, and research suggests that in vulnerable individuals, marijuana use may be a factor that increases risk for the disease. From- www.addict-help.com/

"Cannabis as a smoked product, in my judgment, would not be a useful product simply because of the lack of standardization, the fact that it's a smoked material: you can't determine the dose, people smoke in different ways, plus the interaction of the many different components and degradation products, and the tars associated with smoked materials. So smoking is not a good delivery system.

However, cannabis as a plant that is rich in chemical components, would have potential for producing useful drugs, for example THC. Now THC in the oral preparation, it doesn't seem to be doing the good job it should or was expected to. My personal view on the reason for this is the 'first-pass effect.' The material taken orally goes through the liver and is converted to the 11-hydroxy metabolite, which is 4-5 times more potent in terms of psycho activity, before getting into the bloodstream, and the profile of these two drugs is quite different."
Dec. 19, 2005 - Mahmoud A. ElSohly, PhD

People just seem to want to take an overdose of it, there is really no safe way to make sure that the people took the right amount.

Marijuana is still a drug no matter marijuana, def: hemp plant: the Indian hemp plant that is the source of the drugs marijuana and cannabis.

Why should it be taken as medicine?

People are in pain, but there is till no cure, so why use a drug that can add on to the serious side affects it can have.

Others can become affected. Especially infants or small kids who see parents or adults take this ‘‘medication’’.

"The most compelling concerns regarding marijuana smoking in HIV/AIDS patients are the possible effects of marijuana on immunity.

Reports of opportunistic fungal and bacterial pneumonia in AIDS patients who used marijuana suggest that marijuana smoking either suppresses the immune system or exposes patients to an added burden of pathogens.

In summary, patients with preexisting immune deficits due to AIDS should be expected to be vulnerable to serious harm caused by smoking marijuana."

"A new federal report released today concludes the younger children are when they first use marijuana, the more likely they are to use cocaine and heroin and become dependent on drugs as adults.[...]

Increases in the likelihood of cocaine and heroin use and drug dependence are also apparent for those who initiate use of marijuana at any later age"

Kids don’t know what a drug is. They may see others using it and see that it is okay,

That adds to making them want to use it. If parents don not enforce their children to not do it why would they be doing it.

Others sell it, earn profit

Authorities raided two medical marijuana businesses and arrested 15 people for allegedly making illegal sales in a crackdown announced Thursday by Oakland County officials.

The arrests followed an undercover investigation that found marijuana being sold illegally, often without buyers showing state-issued medical marijuana cards, officials said. The cards are distributed to people whose doctors prescribed marijuana for pain relief.

Raids Wednesday night targeted Clinical Relief, a Ferndale clinic, and Everybody's Café, a Waterford Township restaurant that runs an after-hours "compassion club" behind closed doors. Arrests and drug seizures also occurred at Metro Detroit homes and a Macomb County warehouse, officials said.

Clinical Relief, which opened in June, sells 20 grades of marijuana ranging up to $700 an ounce, and reportedly has more than 1,000 customers.

During the raid there Wednesday, three people were arrested, including co-owner Matthew Curtis.

Ryan Richmond, co-owner of Clinical Relief, on Thursday denied the allegations by police as he drove to visit Curtis at the Oakland County Jail.

People see how much a simple bag of marijuana can go for. It is a way to be able to get a lot of money and still help ‘‘people’’

Can be a dangerous drug. Other less dangerous medicine is still out there

Based on current evidence, I believe that marijuana is a dangerous drug and that there are less dangerous medicines offering the same relief from pain and other medical symptoms."

Classmate Response

This quote from Mercedes was a quote that I could relate to the ASTI counstitution.
''Though that wasn’t always the case… every now and then, an alliance was formed, and being “unpopular” my friends and I were usually the ones being harassed. Truthfully, I didn’t much care, if they wanted to confront me; they needed to do it themselves, to my face. Otherwise, all their effort was for nothing… after a while, the other “targets” picked up on the same tactic, and eventually the harassers left us alone, if we weren’t gonna react, they wouldn’t bother. Tough sometimes this wasn’t as good an idea as it seemed… sometimes the “bullies” would react poorly, resorting to treats of beatings if we didn’t do as they wanted. It was at that point we brought our problem to the administration.''
In the asti constituion we are to folow the rules and respect one another. If someone is having a trouble
we are to try to solve the problem or conflict in any way we can. If we are being mean and be aggresive to each other we will never solve a problem. In the asti constutution we have to be a good student and try to be respectfull.Mercedes shows a good exaple of problem solving. She had a conflict with someone else and ignored them at first. That helps to show the bully that you do not care what he or she does, and that you
are mature. That was a way to stop it, but it continued. It lead to the point where Mercedes had to go to the administration. That can also help to not lead to any more problems. You can just contact an adult,

'Just kidding' and 'Ganging Up' from Odd Girl Out by Rachel Simmons

What is said in this passage is very true, girls do gang up on each other for a sense of pride, and victory over each other. It can be a way of winning a battle, but it leads to a way that makes others isolated to the shocking truth of what it can cause to relationships.

I have experienced a lot of this conflict between girls and alliances. I was once the ‘leader’ of an alliance to another girl. It was a war of gossip. The conflicts aren’t really problems at all, just ways of getting others to be on your side to feel a sense of victory over the target. I once started lying and spreading gossip all over school about a girl who took my best friend. I wanted everyone and (my used to be) best friend to know the lies to convince her I was better. I had more people on my side and they agreed with all the gossip I lied about. In the outcome I never got my friend back as my best friend, just a friend. What was really the problem was how much damage I had caused. The other girl was simply trying to be friendly, but I ignored it and made it pass as anger. I felt bad about the things I said, and wished I had enough confidence to go and say sorry. I did not mean to make her feel bad in front of others, especially her best friend ( who I thought was way better off being with her than with me, now that I think of it). It is not until you see in the future how it affects what you have caused to get back at another, but seem to have made a mess that makes a relationship to break forever.

In conflict like these, you have to be careful of what you do or you could be the new target. Once you decide to be in, there is no way of getting out of it, unless you want to have everyone turn against you as it was being done. The option in my situation was to get as much people into the alliance, and be on my side. If you have everyone ,or most people on your side it makes you feel powerful. It is like the other person cannot get much over you or hurt you since you have your peers ‘supporting you’. I was really just trying to make everyone turn against her. It was a way of letting her know that I was much better than her, but I was wrong in doing that. These alliances can cause girls to turn against one another.

We all know that alliances are made up of bullying. There are many different forms of bullying, but no matter which one they all affect everyone involved in it. People bully each other for many reasons. I think what causes the bullying to start is the conflict between the relationship. Bullying is a way to show the target that you are more powerful, and better. It is a way to gain confidence, to be able to show the target and others that you can beat over them. Bullying is a way of making things worse, because you don't affect one person, but others too. You can make someone be part in a alliance, but then the girl may have others against her for your fault as making her be on your side. Once you start bullying you have to keep on until you have win or loose over your enemy .

People also do not care what they have to do to win the alliance. They can even hurt their own peers. All you want to do is get the power the other person wants and that’s it, there’s not much to it. What is the problem is the hurt that people cause to others. They hurt others who want to turn against them or who don’t want to be in the alliances. The types of hurting others can be a way of threatening as well as showing others what power you have or to just back off.

Sadly in the end I learned that bullying can only break relationships.

It may seem that it is a gain at first, is really the opposite. This passage reminded me that there is nothing good in bullying or being bulled, but in communicating in more appropriate ways like talking things to the person (s) that I may have a problem with. This is a good way to achieve my future goals in school because this way I can focusing more in school work and not in how to get revenge over others.
